Some of you may already know about the Northeast Blackout that took place in 2003, which is currently the second-largest blackout in US history. The outage was caused due to a software bug in Ohio and spread out across eight states. Twenty-one power plants had shut down in just three minutes, affecting fifty million people. My dad, who had lived in Michigan at the time, described how he had tried to drive back home after the blackout occurred. Sadly the inability of the traffic lights caused a traffic jam that he was stuck in for five hours. He would've ran out of gas if it wasn't for a friend he was with who happened to have gas in his car. If our company REBOOT had existed during that time, it would've been a much different story. Our Rebots would've been able to restore power efficiently and quickly. There would be functioning traffic lights, no five-hour-long traffic jams, and more living on the grid.

My mom, my friend, and I had planned a trip to New Orleans to see a concert. The day we were supposed to drive there, hurricane Michael was on its way toward us, so we made a last minute decision to drive a day early. When we got to our hotel, the hurricane had hit Florida. R.E.BO.O.T's Scorpion and Traveler could have had the Panama City area cleaned up in no time. But now we know that if another storm were to hit us, R.E.B.O.O.T would have our backs. — Brianne L.
I was terrified when Dorian hit. Nearly everything was destroyed and I knew we wouldn’t have power for a long time. I didn’t want what happened to Puerto Rico to happen here. I was relieved beyond words when R.E.B.O.O.T’s Rebot arrived and restored the power grid so quickly.” - Satisfied Customer
